Interview Checklist
Below is an interview checklist of what to do in a job interview and what not to do in a job interview. Use the interview checklist below to check that you are ready and prepared for the interview before the job interview day and on the actual job interview day.

Interview Checklist 1: Before the job interview day
Before the day of the job interview, you should:
- find out exactly where the interview is being held
- how long it takes you to get there, factoring in any unexpected delays
- find out as much as possible about the company and the job in order to ask sensible questions
- ensure you have clean and tidy clothes to wear on the job interview day
- ensure that the clothes you will be wearing are right for the job
- see if you can find out what sort of interview you still have e.g. a friendly chat or a formal interview with tests.
Interview Checklist 2: On the job interview day
- give yourself plenty of time to get ready
- make sure you have all the things you will need such as:
- exam certificates
- bus fare
- letter inviting you to the interview
- don't get there in a rush with no time left to visit the restroom or comb your hair
- go to the reception desk first if there is one
- try to find out the name of the person interviewing you. If you don't already know, ask a secretary or receptionist.
