What is the purpose of sending a job interview thank you letter after my job interview?

• To remind them of who you are; your name comes across their desk one more time.
• It is the courteous thing to do!
• Employers notice that you are organized and follow through, and that others did not. Fewer than 10% of all interviewees send a thank-you letter!

When you get back to the car after your interview, make a few notes on the back of THE BUSINESS CARD OR A SEPARATE PAPER ABOUT THE THINGS YOU TALKED ABOUT IN THE interview, and reference them in the thank-you letter.
